Skill Levels
We offer three levels to suit every student.
Beginner
No experience needed. Students learn the fundamentals of clay handling, pinch pots, coil building, and basic shaping techniques in a relaxed setting.
Intermediate
For students with some experience. Classes focus on wheel throwing, slab construction, and more intentional design choices for finished pieces.
Advanced
For confident potters looking to refine their craft. Covers glazing techniques, kiln firing concepts, surface decoration, and developing a personal creative style.

Hand Building
Use pinch, coil, and slab techniques to build clay forms by hand — perfect for beginners and a great foundation for all levels.
Wheel Throwing
Shape clay on a spinning wheel to create bowls, cups, and vases with guided instruction on centring and pulling.
Glazing & Finishing
Apply colour, texture, and glaze to complete and personalise your ceramic pieces before firing.
Surface Decoration
Carve, stamp, and texture clay surfaces to add detail and unique visual character to your work.
Kiln Firing
Learn how finished pieces are fired and understand the transformation that happens inside the kiln.
Creative Design
Develop your own aesthetic and personal style through guided creative projects and open studio time.
